Project Overview:
Afterschool Bunny was a fun project. The idea? A school girl in a sailor fit, sporting a high-tech AR visor, bringing a playful cyber-bunny to life in a moody after-school setting. It was all about blending creativity with cutting-edge tech to imagine a not so distant future.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Art Direction: Ensuring a cohesive and compelling vision throughout the project.
- Concept & Design: Came up with the playful concept, mixing nostalgic vibes with futuristic elements.
- 3D Modeling: Used 3DS Max to create her AR visor.
- Rendering: Used Vray to achieve photorealistic rendering
- Texturing and Shading: Utilized advanced texturing techniques to add depth and complexity, enhancing its visual appeal.
- Post-Production: Added final touches with After Effects and Photoshop to achieve the desired look.
Challenges:
- Character Compositing: Ensuring the that visor and the original photo matched as closely as possible.
- AR Visor: Creating a realistic and futuristic AR visor concept.
- Visual Consistency: Balancing the whimsical nature of the high-tech elements of the AR visor with the grounded reality of the photography.
Outcome:
"Afterschool Bunny" was a fun project. The AR visor worn by the girl was a standout feature, adding a futuristic and interesting glimpse into what may come.
